FOR THE FANS & FOR THE STARS: FRANCO COLAPINTO AND ‘KUN’ AGÜERO JOINS THE BEST PADEL

The Argentine ex-footballer was supporting Claudia Jensen and Vero Virseda, who faced Jessica Castelló and Andrea Ustero in the first match at the Madrid Arena centre court, showing his commitment to the team: ‘This is the first time we have the team at the Hexagon Cup and I'm very happy to be accompanying the players so they can be calm’. On his team's chances of winning the tournament and when asked if he would be happier than one of his former teams winning the Champions League, Kun was blunt: ‘I trust in Krü, in my team. Obviously I want City, Atlético and Barcelona to do very well, but I'd be happier if Krü wins the Hexagon Cup.  

Agüero was accompanied by his compatriot Franco Colapinto, a Formula 1 driver who made his debut last year with Williams Racing and this January has signed as the new reserve driver for the Alpine team. The Argentinian had the honour of watching from the bench one of Fernando Belasteguín's last matches as a professional for the Eleven Eleven team.

The presenter Maria José Suárez did not want to miss this iconic padel event either, as well as other stars of the small and big screen such as the actress Raquel Guerrero, now in fashion with the series Machos Alfa, and Unax Ugalde.

Returning to sport, the ex-footballer of teams such as PSG, Roma or the Argentinean national team, Javier Pastore, enjoyed the matches in the afternoon and in the morning he was the protagonist for a few minutes together with the influencer ‘Delantero 09’ in a publicity event for the fans. Although for pure strikers Andriy Shevchenko, very attentive to the Madrid Arena's afternoon session, as well as David Villa, striker of Sporting de Gijón, Zaragoza, Valencia, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid or the Spanish national team.

And continuing with influencers, Estela Grande also went to the venue located in Madrid's Casa de Campo, accompanied by her husband and also footballer (from Getafe) Juan Iglesias.

Beyond football, other padel-loving sportsmen and women could also be seen, such as Raúl Chapado, current president of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, or Jennifer Pareja, one of the best water polo players in the history of Spain. All these stars could be seen at the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025: ‘For the Fans, For the Players, For the Game... and For the Celebrities’.
