Madrid, November 08th, 2023 - Hexagon Cup, the new padel tournament whose mission is to transform the sport of 20 x 10, announces a partnership agreement with the Madrid Padel Federation (FMP) to further raise the profile and success of this exciting sporting event.
Through this agreement, this innovative private teams tournament and the federation establish a solid relationship of cooperation between both entities with the objective of fostering the development and promotion of the Hexagon Cup, the revolutionary padel tournament to be held at the Madrid Arena from January 31 to February 4, 2024.
After signing the agreement, Carlos Almazán, Hexagon Cup Sports General Manager, said that "we are pleased to be able to announce this collaboration. This collaboration agreement with the Madrid Padel Federation allows us to further strengthen the position of Hexagon Cup as one of the main padel tournaments in the region and in the world. It also reinforces our commitment to make Madrid the padel capital of the world".
For his part, José Luis Amoroto, President of the Padel Federation of Madrid, stressed that "for the FMP, to be able to collaborate in an event of this magnitude with a format not seen until now, is a source of satisfaction considering the impact it will have, hoping it will be the first of many in our community".
As part of this agreement, the Federation will support the tournament by giving visibility to Hexagon Cup through its own digital channels, as well as support and human resources for the celebration of the tournament. In return, Hexagon Cup will offer different benefits to FMP members.
About Hexagon Cup
Under the motto "For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game", this revolutionary competition is born with the ambition of offering a new and disruptive approach, as well as with the firm intention of transforming the sport of padel. To do so, it has designed a completely new format in which 6 teams made up of three pairs each (one male, one female and one made up of stars of the future) will compete for victory, and a one million euro prize fund.
