Krü Padel by Taktika, Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 champion

By the Hexagon Cup team
2.2.2025

Krü Padel by Taktika has been proclaimed champion of the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025. The Argentine team defeated the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille 2-1. The Next Gen, Marina Lobo and Águeda Pérez, have withstood the pressure perfectly and have given the decisive point to the Latin American team.

The final began with the match between Martita Ortega and Gemma Triay, from the Academy, against Claudia Jensen and Vero Virseda, from the Argentine team. A first match that lived up to the expectations of a packed and dedicated Madrid Arena. After a first set that was decided in the tie-break in favour of the Spanish pair, Jensen and Virseda, who were losing in the second set by 5-2, came to their senses and showed all their grit to tie the score. The women's final was decided in the longest super tie-break of the tournament, where Ortega and Triay made Rafa Nadal's spirit count and closed the match by 7-6 / 5-7 / 13-11.

In this way, all the hopes of Krü Padel by Taktika were placed on its men's pair, made up of Fede Chingotto and Momo González. The 'Kun' pair faced Franco Stupaczuk and Alex Ruiz. Both pairs jumped to the centre court, which was expectantly awaiting the outcome of the match. As far as padel is concerned, Chingotto and González knew how to take better advantage of their opportunities and closed the match by a double 6-4. Thus, the grand final would be decided in the Next Gen match.

All the pressure on the youngest. On one side, Noa Cánovas and Noemí Aguilar, from the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille; on the other, Marina Lobo and Águeda Pérez, from Krü Padel by Taktika. The girls from the Academy had just won both of their matches, while the girls from ‘Kun’ had just lost both. But in a final everything is equal and so it was. Lobo and Pérez had before them the opportunity to show why they were in the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 and the stage was unbeatable. They won 6-3 and 6-4 to take the final point.

Thus, Krü Padel by Taktika has become champion of the second edition of the Hexagon Cup, in its debut in the competition, and the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille is once again on the verge of the title, which has been resisting it.

Third place went to AD/vantage Padel Team. The champion of the first edition of the Hexagon Cup was one of the main favourites to win the title for the second consecutive year. Their seven rivals saw them as a very dangerous team and this was demonstrated throughout the competition. The British, in these five days, have only lost three of the ten matches they have played and their members, Martín Di Nenno, Juan Tello, Delfi Brea, Sofía Araujo, Martina Clavo and Marta Borrero did a practically perfect job.

In the tie that decided third and fourth place in this Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025, the team of Andy Murray, Anthony Joshua and Arran Yetob defeated Team Bella 2-0, after the victories of Brea-Araujo by 3-6 / 6-4 / 10-5 and Di Nenno-Tello by a double 6-3. The champions of the first edition won a valuable bronze in the qualifying round against Team Bella Puerto Rico, which went from strength to strength in these clashes against the British team.
