With an atmosphere of enthusiasm for the future of the competition, and full of energy, several of the best players in the world, as well as members of the teams, have passed through the photocall of Hexagon Cup and have attended the media on this first day of Media Day.

The first day of the Alpine Hexagon Cup has also served as an opportunity to get the impressions of the players, who have been excited and ready to face this new challenge with their teams. This second edition will have two more teams, Krü Padel by Taktika and 10 Padel. Claudia Fernández, player of the team led by Pierre Gasly, values the ‘spectacularity’ of the tournament: ‘Last year it was spectacular, with couples that didn't used to play together and this year, with the two new teams, it will be even more spectacular’.

In a new format and with the pressure of playing decisive matches that can mark the course of the tournament, the competition will be fierce from day one. The eight teams are looking forward to the competition and some, such as Álex Ruiz of the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille, are even looking forward to revenge: ‘Last year we won all the matches except the final and that was a thorn in our side. This year we are going for the title’.

The Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 is not only notable for its ground-breaking format, but also has the biggest prize money in the history of 20x10 sport, with a total of 1.2 million euros. ‘The prize money is motivating, but I'm thinking about helping my team and having a great week enjoying a team event, which is different,’ said world number one Agustin Tapia of RL9 team.

It's also a great opportunity for the younger players. The Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 will feature the participation of the great promises of the circuit, including Sofia Saiz, who is looking forward to the start of the event: ‘I hope to find competitive sensations, as it is the first of the year and, if it happens, get the best possible results.

With the padel season about to start, all eyes are now on this event, which is undoubtedly already one of the highlights of the 20x10 sporting calendar. The tournament with its unique atmosphere and unprecedented format promises to offer padel fans an unparalleled experience.
