OUTSTANDING NUMBERS: + 30,000 ATTENDEES AND +2 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE

We are happy to see that the second edition has left figures that catch the eye and exceed expectations. In a short time, we have achieved a real success both for the players and for the thousands of fans who came to live a unique experience of elite padel. The event has consolidated its position as one of the most important and eagerly awaited tournaments on the international padel calendar, as the figures reveal, thanks to a first class organisation and the presence of the best players in the world, who offered a vibrant spectacle in every match. 

An international event that exceeded expectations 

The second edition not only stood out for the quality of the padel played on its courts, but also for the spectacular atmosphere created by the city of Madrid. From the first day of the tournament, the Madrid Arena was filled with the energy and enthusiasm of the 30,000 fans who didn't want to miss a single point of this unique event. The participation of the biggest names in world padel, such as Arturo Coello, Paula Josemaría, Federico Chingotto and Ari Sánchez, along with other giants of the sport, underlined the relevance of a tournament that was won by Krü Padel by Taktika, the team of Kun Agüero and Gabriel Pérez Krieb, after a very tight final against the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille. 

Thanks to everyone's support us we have quickly established ourselves as one of the most exciting competitions, not only because of the quality of the players, but also because of its innovative format. This year, the event reached record attendance figures, with more than 30,000 spectators in total over the five days of competition, with both Saturday and Sunday being sold out, demonstrating the growing interest and support for this tournament in Madrid, a city that breathes sport.  

In addition, the competition was the perfect showcase for players between 16 and 22 years old who, in the Next Gen category.

Another figure that speaks for itself, in terms of viewers and the success of the format, is the number of global viewers (2 million views, an increase of 71% compared to last year) who followed the tournament on the YouTube channel, with 24:24 minutes of media viewing time (+29.8% compared to 2024). 

The website had 126,000 users interacting with it. In addition, between Instagram (5.8 million accounts were reached), Tik Tok, X and LinkedIn, the tournament had a total of 20 million views and a growth of 20% in the total community, exceeding 55,000 followers. 

Unique commercial support 

On a commercial level, we have had 22 sponsors who have increased the income received through this channel. A real success considering that this is only the second edition of the event. Among all of them, the support of Alpine as title sponsor and Mahou as main sponsor stand out. In total, 57 brand activations were carried out between the central track and the Fan Zone. 

In addition, the event featured 35 global broadcasting partners (seven more than in the first edition), bringing the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2024 to nearly 750 million households (+9.5% compared to 2024). 

Strong reception among media and content creators 

The event had a total of 456 accreditation requests from local, national and international media partners and the content creation community. 

Madrid fans, involved and passionate 

The involvement of the Madrid fans was one of the highlights of the second edition. The fans not only filled the stands, but also actively participated in the event, showing their passion for padel at every moment. The vibrant atmosphere and palpable excitement in the stands created a unique atmosphere, with fans cheering, encouraging their favourite players and teams and celebrating every point with enthusiasm. 

This unconditional support from the fans not only raised the quality of the tournament, but also consolidated the Spanish capital as the epicentre of padel, demonstrating its capacity to host events of great magnitude and make them memorable. 

Memorable moments and the tribute to Fernando Belasteguín 

One of the most emotional moments was the tribute to padel legend Fernando Belasteguín, who played his last match at the Madrid Arena in front of a dedicated audience that did not hesitate to give him a standing ovation. The charisma, career and achievements of Belasteguín, who has been a benchmark for generations of players, marked one of the most emotional moments of the tournament, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of the fans. 

International personalities and celebrities 

The event not only shone not only for the sporting level, but also for the presence of great personalities from the world of sport and entertainment. Figures such as actress and producer Eva Longoria, Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly, footballer Kun Agüero, owners of ElevenEleven, 10 Padel Alpine and Krü Padel by Taktika respectively, made the Alpine Hexagon Cup 2025 even more popular in the media. Likewise, other celebrities such as Franco Colapinto enjoyed the best padel on the planet and there were some who were even an active part of the tournament. Iker Casillas, Luis Milla or ‘Mista’ took part in the Solidarity Derby; while Willy Bárcenas, Fernando Llorente or Shevchenko played the Match of the Stars, two parallel shows that fused sport, solidarity and entertainment in a unique format.

A tournament for everyone: from competition to fun. 

In addition to the high-level matches, there were activities for everyone, from padel exhibitions to entertainment areas for the little ones, creating a large-scale family event with numerous inclusive activities that made it easy for all types of players to feel welcome. The parallel activities allowed attendees to enjoy the tournament from different perspectives, which contributed to making this edition a padel party for everyone.  

Unique evenings could also be enjoyed in the Fan Zone area, which featured unique musical events, such as the Bresh x Mahou Party and the Seagrams party, or the performances of several DJs (Adri Lozano & Barce, Diego Gilca...). 

The future of the Hexagon Cup 

The success of the second edition has set the bar very high for future editions. The organisers are already thinking about how to make the tournament grow even more in the coming years, with new surprises, more teams, and more opportunities for the public to participate in this sporting festival that is here to stay. The 2025 edition has shown that the Hexagon Cup is much more than a padel tournament: it is a celebration of passion, sport and culture at its best. Looking forward to the next edition, the organisers promise an even more spectacular event, which will undoubtedly mark another milestone in the history of padel.
