RAFA NADAL ACADEMY POWERED BY RICHARD MILLE SPRINTS ON THEIR WAY TO THE FINAL

By the Hexagon Cup team
31.1.2025

For their part, Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay had a "cushion" in terms of points. The Mallorcan team added 6 points in the 5 matches played and led the ranking.

After an overwhelming first set by Paula Josemaría and Alejandra Alonso, Martita and Gemma reacted to a 6-2, 3-0 disadvantage and forced the super tiebreak to end up imposing their rhythm by 10 to 6. The +2 points went to the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille who is the undisputed leader with 8 points with two matches to play on Saturday. For their part, ElevenEleven have only been able to get points from their Next Gen partner, so they say goodbye to competing in the grand final on Sunday.

The day ended with the match between Mike Yanguas and Javi Garrido, from 10 Padel Alpine, against Juan Tello and Martín Di Nenno, from AD/vantage Padel Team. The British team won 6-4 and 7-5 in a match that was decided by small details. The victory of the team led by Andy Murray keeps them alive and they must win their remaining Next Gen Gen match in the last round of the group stage and wait for other results that can give them a pass to the finals on Sunday. After the defeat, 10 Padel Alpine will need to win both of their Saturday matches to have a chance of qualifying for the grand final.
